On Concord, I served as Lead Palette Artist for World Art. My responsibilities varied widely from building the team from just about the ground up, to career development, mentoring, pipeline development, asset review, scheduling, project planning etc etc. I also contributed a fair bit to the shipped content. While some amount of work I made found its way into just about every map, I spent the vast majority of my production time on the map Sorting Hub. As with any map, this was a team effort involving many of the super talented Firewalk World Artists. My responsibilities included building and maintaining the core architecture kit, prop building and set dressing. I took the transit car section from block out to final. I also worked on optimizations for this map to get it into memory and performance budgets. This included geometry optimizations, asset reduction, and occluder placements to cut down on the amount of geometry being drawn on screen.
